since i almost gave myself a nervous breakdown yesterday, i am being easy on myself today. and since i am taking a break from this hard but interesting article that i had to write and present an abstract on for wednesday i thought that i might as well check in and say HELLLLOOOOW!

i was thinking about going to the d-rama to get some well needed bowls, but it;s raining and i am tres lazee. so sit here and ramble, and then read some more and then change what i am reading and then stir fry dinner time with radical boy when he gets home from work.

i have no idea a) what we are doing for halloween b) or what we are even are going to dress up as! rad suggested that we go as batman and robin. of course i would be batman! i think that would be funny but we dont have anytime to put together costumes so i am thinking along the lines of using what we got here and making it into something. we do have some puppets that maybe we could put into use. As you can see in the background of this picture, my mum bought us a pumpkin which we are going to carve tonight and toast the pumpkin seeds…..mmmm pumpkin seeds salad……. and we can drink pumpkin beer whilst we carve it, incestuous i know. Then we are finally going to watch my favourite nfb documentary, Ladies and Gentlemen…..Mr. Leonard Cohen. Worth watching! I am obcessed and could watch it over and over and over and over…… I made rad read The Favourite Game and now he is reading a great biography of LC called Various Positions. I am trying to extend my love for LC over to rad.

Anyways we are somewhat getting settled into the apartment, slowly. I have been much too busy to even unpack some things! I think i might soon start counting down till christmas, because that’s when i get a day off! sigh

anyways i should get back to attempting to read!

trying to work on my assignment due tomorrow morn at 8:30. An abstract to submit to a conference. I am so tired and lazy today (and this week). We are trying to finish up this big move process this weekend. yesterday our couch and bookcase came and we put them together, nearly demolishing the bookshelf in the process, but it looks good! We are slowing coming together here! A few snags, etc. But coming along. Anyways I should finish start this assignment so i can pack some more (we are moving the tv tonight as cable guy coming tomorrow aft) and get ready for the big night at the pemby tonight! yay j-bot’s in town! i need to be in bed by 11:30. let’s do this!

it is 1:52 – I have until noon tomorrow before I have to hand this assignment in. It’s fucking ON! like 22 hrs before i can breath sighs of relief. until then i will try to get ulcers by drinking lots of coffee and stressing out and yelling lots. see you then!

this assignment will be the death of me. looming, immobilizing assignment due sunday worth 30% of my grade. I am frusterated, immobilized (I hate starting assignments! where to begin!) I just don’t want to work on it, but then i get stressed out knowing that if i dont work on it now it will actually kill me later. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FCUK. you know what really helps on top of this??! Being a woman! Yay i love being a woman with hormones that make me literally go insane once a month. I turn into a raging hormone beast that wants to roll heads. But you know what, assignments also make me want to roll heads. I am in a shit mood, am having a shit day which is going to turn into a shit weekend and i dont know how to move/get past this. fuck fukc fuck fuck fuck fuckfuckfuckfuck what to do what to do what to do? frusterated, immobilized! hate hate hate hate hate hate – i obviously accomplished things today but i feel so unproductive! i also have a fucking lovely presentation to do at 8:30 tomorrow morning and i still have to finish my assignment due tomorrow morning. i hate myself right now.

this morning mouse ate so much food (bout half an hours worth) and then puked it all back up into her dish. It was a good start to the morning, needless to say. Needless to say this is, again, called procrastination blogging. I have not much to say, but wanna waste time saying something. Same ol’, same ol’. Busy trying to a) study, read, presentation, etc. b) slowly moving/cleaning. I want to show pictures, but my laptop is officially outa room, and this computer wont be within my use much longer, so I am not uploading pics anywhere…. ya I know, I am lazy! My tummy hurts. In the next 45 mins I have to , get presentable to the outside world, aka take off these sweats that my dirty boyfriend was wearing last night, make some sort of dinnerish meal to take with me, pack up shit up, and go hang at the university for like 2 1/2 hours before my 6-9 o’clock class. booo urns! ya. i should get on that huh? okay byee beeeee

I am in the midst of writing a presentation on venereal disease in the 18th century for my class on tuesday. Annika is to be heard downstairs singing. My dad is on the first floor cooking thanksgiving dinner, annika and charlie are on the second floor studying, and I am on the third floor working. The four of us just had a conversation without moving from where we were. I three story conversation. Hilarious. Mouse is sitting on my printer being all cute and pretending to be a statue of a goodness cat. last night we tried to sanitize our apartment some more. It’s a bit of a mess. We keep finding gross things. Kitchen is almost completely done. Bathroom is done. we are slowly moving in.  time to get back to work.

oh ya, it snowed last night, a blizzard. It is slowly in the process of melting, but we did get like 10 cm. shit!

tired.tired.tired.tired.busy.but.good.i.think.

montreal was crazy. busy. fun. i hope that you kept up to date with the trip through rad’s blog – he gave a pretty good account of everything. He spent hours blogging with I was busy trying to keep up with my school work while on vacation. now we are back and i am still trying to keep up with school work! ah! the never ending battle!! the never ending battle of a never ending work load! and of course with oct 1st came the possession of our new apartment! so now is the never ending battle of moving before the snow comes! on tuesday rad spent the afternoon turning our apartment from black to clean, although not entirely! Last night we worked on removing all the random makeshift sketchy bookshelves and started cleaning the kitchen. and put our cute little kitchen table in it!

tomorrow involves dollarama, canadian tire and perhaps even some jysk shopping! then some more cleaning and beers! and more slow moving ! lol! but for now I need to review and print my assignment for tomorrow morning and then go to bed! long day of not leaving my house today lol
