Lying in a bed of kleenex and advil bottles watching daytime tv. I do have to attempt to write my scholarship application that is due in a couple of days. oh shit I should check my uni email. i wish i had someone to bring my soup and juice. whine whine whine whine whine whine whine moan bitch bitch.

I think I am developing a crushola on JV but am nervous that he is starting to see someone (who has a very similar name as me). Or is that the girl that basically slyly told him she wasnt interested in being more than friends. We had this super cute moment the other day when he was sleeping over and I was sleeping in the middle between jessie and him and was super uncomfortable so at one point I am like fuck it and roll over and place my hand on his chest and he then he takes my hand and moves it around on his chest finding the most comfortable spot for it to rest. I dont know if he was awake or asleep or if he thought i was awake or asleep

So i don’t think it is strep, even though I waited 2 hrs at a walk in to make sure. My glands hurt less today although I still had a fever and was stupid and didnt take any advil until after 5pm and now that I have taken the pills i feel better-aka no chills, less aches and pains, lessening of headaches. My lower back killls- assume it is from lying in bed for two days now.

So now the question is….. should i push myself to go to work tomorrow or stay home another day and make sure I have a full recovery? Kind of torn. Yes I would like another day off work. On the other hand I feel as though i havent been at work in forever what with Louis Riel day last monday and taking friday off work….. what to do….what to do……

i am home sick today. My glands in my throat are swollen and painful and i still have a bit of a fever. I think it’s strep throat. Hopefully at some point someone will come take me to the walk in clinic. It’s a tough day today because my grandma is being moved into the nursing home. So for now i will lay here…..

update:my throat really hurts!! i guess all that booze and lack of sleep in the last week combined with hanging outside last night wasnt such a good idea…..

Good Afternoon. Yes I am still in bed in some fashion or another. Why would i really leave my bed on a Sunday, especially now that I have a huge tv with the works in my bedroom now. Mouse is sitting beside me in her huge dish chair smiling contentedly. I am gross and greasy and smelly and comfy and catching up on episodes of the Real World Brooklyn and am now watching the family stone. Last night we had a marvolous time at the Festival du Voyageur . I am currently wearing my voyageur headband that I purchases last eve.

They were amazing as usual and had a theremin which are super awesome. I have never seen a live band use one before.

So worst experience ever was using a portapotty in the winter (in winnipeg nevertheless) in the dark with long underwear, mittens etc. to worry about! Seriously never want to do that again!!! We afterwards found a real bathroom.

Again we went home and played Rock Band…..for 3.5 freakin hours! and guess what!! We unlocked Alanis!!!!!!!!!! amazing! and got the highest score yet! I also got 96% on Expert on vocals on kids in america!!!! we seriously played super obnoxious until 2 am despite the others sleeping in the house.

I am feeling a little bit like i am about to get sick. My gland is swollen and a little painful. Mmm maybe I should have some of that chickpea somthing soup I got at costco yesterday. Yes, and then i wanna make burritos later!!!! mmmmm with jalopenas!

Good Morning Sunshine!

Friday morning at Smittys drinking coffee and eating fries. We had to bring Jessie’s mom’s car in to fix a chip in the windshield and we ended up at Smitty’s waiting out the 45 mins.

It was a beautiful sunny day.
So Jessie climbed a snowhill but then struggled getting down.
Then we proceeded to play Rock Band 2 for about four hours in total that day. I got 100% on hard on vocals. The Muffs-Kids in America- I am sooooo good at!!!!

We’ve been trying and trying to unlock Alanis for months and months – well Jessie hadnt been in town since x-mas and I don;t like playing by myself because it’s lonely but i think i will start playing by myself to really fine tune my skillz.

We were really rocking out. Rock Band is very addictive.

Then we went over to John and Bonni’s to hang out with the kids and celebrate Betty;s 5th b-day. These photos are so funny because we just look like we are all the same (similar) age and all have these snarky looks on our faces, but Bonni has 3 kids (5 year old and 2.5 year old twins) and Betty who is 5 calls Jessie and I her “teenage cousins” when Jessie is actually only 3 years yonger than Betty;s mom and in this picture there doesn’t look like we are teenagers or much younger than Bonni.

Hanging out watching the kidlets being crazy and hyper on a friday night. We stayed pretty late and then went back home and surprise surprise played more Rock Band!! and that was Friday.

I did not want to get my shirt dirty! Eating some speggets before da bar! We actually went to the bar at like some ridiculous time…like 7:30. Boy was it packed! (not)
Us pretending we are 12 year old girls and taking pics of our cell phones together on the table. Check out how nice our cells are. Mine is the biggest (piece of crap) on the table.

Our favourite place in the bar and basically the reason we were there (memory lane). We added some new to our old. That heart is on the ceiling. Oh p.s. this is the girls washroom. We have spent a lot of time in there over the years.

All of our old stuff has been written over. If you look close you can see things like “full house is on dvd…also protect yo dank” and “maxi-pads” and ” i heart porn” and other classics we have written on that wall.
This was Annika’s first time there. Oh, and also look at our new friend posing in the back.

The bar scene was not that great that night and we ended up going to 711 and slices and then bringin the party into my bed with a 90210 season 1 party. I love my new tv in my bedroom. Best idea ever! Joel ended up staying over even though he had to get up at 6 am for work (i took friday off). and i slept between Jessie and Joel and i was sooo hot! Joel was so pissed off at 6am when he had to leave to go work construction (building houses) and he had also hurt his back earlier in the week and wasnt in the best shape. Poor joelie.
